Agbon Council, ISPON, LERSA Honor Late Emadoye Matriarch with Tributes

Communities and leaders honor Mama Esther Emadoye, a devoted matriarch and pillar of faith, family, and service, as they bid her farewell at 98.

Groups including the Agbon Traditional Council, ISPON, and LERSA gathered in Ethiope East, Delta State, to honor the late Mama Ewudjakpor Esther Emadoye, who died at 98. The ceremony highlighted her lifelong dedication to family, community, and faith. Mama Emadoye was a respected Catholic and active member of several church societies. Her son, Olorogun James Emadoye, remembered her as strong-willed, selfless, and the backbone of their family since her husband’s passing in 1993. Delegates, including LERSA President Chief Sulyman Bello, praised her lasting legacy and the success of her children. Chief Emma Avworo of the Agbon Council noted her generosity and cultural contributions, while ISPON President Bimbo Abioye acknowledged her broad influence beyond her family. Mama Emadoye leaves behind children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a legacy marked by faith and service.
