Actress and businesswoman Aisha Lawal has publicly denied receiving a Toyota Venza from transport union leader MC Oluomo. The claim, made by NURTW official Baba Bistijabah in a video, alleged that MC Oluomo collected the vehicle from him and later gave it to the actress.
Speaking on the Talk to B Show, Aisha described the story as completely untrue. She stated that she has never received any car from MC Oluomo and has never even driven a Venza. She explained that her financial growth came from her business efforts and not from any gifts or favors. Recalling a key moment in her journey, Aisha said the COVID-19 pandemic marked a major breakthrough for her, revealing that she made ₦10 million in a single week during the lockdown.
While acknowledging MC Oluomo with respect, she emphasized that associating her name with the alleged transaction was both misleading and disrespectful. She urged the public to give her due credit for her struggles and achievements, adding that she currently drives a Lexus GX 460, not a Venza.
She concluded by encouraging people to stop spreading false information and to be more mindful of the stories they share about others.
