A new talent from Birkenhead, Wirral, is ready to transform the Afrobeats music scene. Rebecca Ward, known as Becca Diamond, combines her psychology degree and CBT coaching skills with a passion for music. Her goal is to become the first white woman to leave a lasting impact on the Afrobeats genre. Rebecca’s musical roots trace back to childhood, performing on pub stages at age seven alongside her guitar-playing father. Her parents’ love for singing fueled her early connection to music, shaping her career path. Besides music, she holds a law qualification and training in mindfulness, bringing depth and authenticity to her work. Rebecca is drawn to African culture, captivated by its vibrant rhythms and values. She aims to fuse these influences with her unique perspective, creating a fresh sound that bridges cultures. Her ambition goes beyond music; she wants to inspire others to push boundaries. As she readies her debut Afrobeats-inspired project, Rebecca Ward is poised to become a trailblazer, proving that determination and cultural appreciation can create a powerful new voice in global music.
