Dangote Refinery Announces ₦15 Fuel Price Cut Nationwide

Dangote Refinery reduces petrol prices by ₦15 per litre across Nigeria, with new rates ranging from ₦875 to ₦905 depending on location.

The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has implemented a nationwide reduction in the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol. The new price range is between ₦875 and ₦905 per litre, depending on the region. This reduction, which applies to all participating fuel stations, is set at ₦15 per litre across the country.

The official announcement was made on the company’s social media channels on Thursday. The new pricing will affect major marketers such as MRS, Ardova, Heyden, Optima Energy, Techno Oil, and Hyde Energy, who distribute Dangote-refined products.

Previously, Lagos residents paid ₦890 per litre, while prices in the North-East and South-South regions reached ₦920 per litre. With the new adjustment, Lagos now pays ₦875 per litre, and the North-East and South-South regions will see a price reduction to ₦905.

The updated prices by region are as follows: ₦875 in Lagos, ₦885 in the South-West, ₦895 in the North-West and Central regions, and ₦905 in the North-East, South-South, and South-East.

Dangote Refinery has urged consumers to purchase fuel only from authorized partner stations and to report any non-compliance through its official hotlines: +234 707 470 2099 and +234 707 470 2100. The company emphasized that its fuel is refined for better engine performance and is environmentally friendly.
