A photo shared by his wife, Victoria Beckham, shows the 50-year-old football icon lying in a hospital bed, dressed in a medical gown. The image was posted on Instagram with the caption, “Get well soon Daddy,” sparking a wave of concern and support from fans.
Another photo revealed Beckham wearing a blue arm sling and a bracelet decorated with colourful beads that spelt out the words “Get well soon,” similar in style to Taylor Swift’s friendship bracelets.
The incident comes shortly after Beckham was honoured with a knighthood in the King’s Birthday Honours list earlier this month. While the cause of the injury remains unknown, the former Manchester United and Real Madrid star appeared in good spirits despite his condition.
