A former teacher from Indiana, who has been charged with sexually abusing several underage children, is currently being held in Morgan County Jail in Martinsville, Indiana. She is facing serious accusations, including child molestation, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and distributing harmful material to minors. The defendant, who allegedly wore “Scream” masks during the abuse, has pleaded not guilty to the charges through her attorney, Stephen Gray, who declined to comment further.
While awaiting trial, the woman is being housed in solitary confinement, despite her cell being designed for three inmates. The facility does not allow conjugal visits, nor is there access to adult content, including pornography. She is also restricted from possessing any sexually explicit materials. Her daily life consists of a routine of solitude, with her meals being delivered to her cell three times a day. The food options include basic meals such as cereal, hot dogs, and chicken patties, with no opportunity for social interaction during mealtime.
Her cell is minimalistic, equipped only with a metal bunk, a toilet, a sink, and the bare essentials. She does not have access to any material of a sexual nature, and her jail-issued tablet is also restricted from adult content. However, she is allowed to mingle with other inmates during designated times, though she chooses to stay alone in her cell. The jail has reported that, so far, she has had no disciplinary issues.
Fortinberry is facing 29 felony charges, and if convicted, she could be sentenced to several decades behind bars. Her legal case continues to unfold, but the lack of intimacy or access to adult content will remain a part of her prison experience.
