Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, visited the site of a recent attack that resulted in the deaths of five local security personnel. Accompanied by a high-level security delegation, including Dr. Nasiru Muazu Danmusa, the State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Governor Radda conducted a comprehensive assessment of the situation. He visited remote areas, speaking directly with residents to understand their conditions and assure them of his administration’s commitment to tackling the ongoing security issues.
The Governor emphasized the importance of collaboration with security agencies and community leaders to enhance safety measures for both security forces and civilians across the state. Dr. Danmusa provided additional details on the Governor’s visit, highlighting the state’s ongoing battle with frequent bandit attacks while acknowledging recent successes in combating criminal elements, especially around the Ruwan Godiya area.
