Governor Umo Eno Claims Over 50% Progress on Arise Agenda, Urges Akwa Ibom Residents to Judge

Governor Umo Eno reports over 50% progress on his Arise Agenda, urging Akwa Ibom residents to evaluate his administration’s performance after two years.

Governor Umo Eno has announced that his administration has completed more than half of the objectives outlined in the Arise Agenda midway through his first term. Speaking at the Government House in Uyo during a session marking two years in office, he stressed that the true evaluation of his government’s performance should come from the people of Akwa Ibom State.

The governor expressed confidence in the progress made, noting that independent organizations and citizen feedback support the positive direction of his administration. He acknowledged that while the government has not yet reached all its goals, it has surpassed 50% completion across key areas such as agriculture, rural development, infrastructure, security, and education. These five pillars form the core of the Arise Agenda.

Governor Eno highlighted the tangible results seen so far, emphasizing his commitment to fulfilling the promises made to Akwa Ibom residents. He refrained from self-praise, encouraging the public to provide the final judgment on his administration’s achievements.

The statement reflects a mix of progress and ongoing work, with the governor confident about the path ahead but leaving the ultimate assessment to those directly impacted by his policies.
