As the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) announces the results for the rescheduled 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), candidates need to be aware of the correct process to check their results and avoid mistakes. Recently, JAMB clarified that there were no high scorers in the cancelled UTME sessions from five South-East states and Lagos, where technical difficulties affected the exams. The Board reported that only a small number of candidates scored above 200, with 99% of participants scoring below 200. This debunks rumors suggesting that some candidates sought to keep their previous higher scores. In a statement issued, JAMB explained that any questions about candidates wanting to retain high scores from the cancelled sessions were baseless. It further warned against individuals attempting to exploit the situation for personal gain and discredit the exam process.
