The Arsenal boss shared his optimism during a recent press briefing, stating that if he were to place a bet on Havertz returning earlier than initially predicted, he would do so with confidence. Arteta believes Havertz’s relentless attitude may see him rejoin the team sooner rather than later.
Meanwhile, Arsenal’s strong run in Europe has helped ease the disappointment of their faltering domestic campaign. The team looks set to finish second in the Premier League for the third year in a row. With only six matches left, they trail leaders Liverpool by 13 points.
Liverpool could secure the title as early as Sunday if they defeat Leicester and Arsenal fail to win against relegation-threatened Ipswich. Arteta is determined to avoid that outcome and has urged his players not to lose focus in the league.
