The naira closed at N1,560 per dollar in the parallel market on Tuesday, gaining N5 from Monday’s rate of N1,565. In contrast, figures from the Central Bank of Nigeria showed a slight dip in the official market, with the naira trading at N1,530.5 per dollar, compared to N1,529.5 the previous day. This represents a N1 loss in the official exchange value. The gap between the two markets narrowed to N29.5, down from N35.5 on Monday.
