Nigerian Trailblazer Crowned Mrs. Canada Globe 2025-2026

Isabella Emike Olatunji becomes the first Nigerian to win the prestigious Mrs. Canada Globe title, inspiring action on menstrual equity and global representation.

Isabella Emike Olatunji, a community advocate and resident of Manitoba, has made history as the first Nigerian woman to win the title of Mrs. Canada Globe 2025-2026. Her victory not only marks a personal milestone but also a national first, as she becomes the inaugural Nigerian to represent Manitoba as a delegate, reach the finals, and secure the crown.

Olatunji was also awarded the Queen of Peace Award in recognition of her work in peacebuilding and humanitarian service. With a Master’s degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Manitoba, her mission has long been focused on social justice, especially menstrual equity. Through her non-profit organisation, Kingdom Minded Queens (KMQ), founded in 2018, she has distributed over 300 menstrual hygiene kits to women in need both in Canada and abroad. She recently pledged 100 kits for victims of the Manitoba wildfires.

As Mrs. Canada Globe, Olatunji will represent the country at the upcoming international Mrs. Globe pageant, where she hopes to win a global crown that has eluded Canada for more than three decades. Her reign will spotlight the push for free access to menstrual products nationwide, using global examples from Scotland and New Zealand as a framework for change.

Beyond pageantry, Olatunji is a successful entrepreneur. She co-founded DTA Automotive Dealership and established Eleanor Luxury Apartments. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Strategic Studies alongside her Master’s in Peace and Conflict Studies. A mother of three, she is deeply involved in grassroots initiatives across Winnipeg and is committed to lifelong learning and community transformation.
