Toyota Nigeria Limited plans to sell 3,000 vehicles in 2025, maintaining strong market presence despite economic difficulties like inflation and currency depreciation. The company currently holds 27% of Nigeria’s new car market. This forecast was shared by Managing Director Kunle Ade-Ojo during the Toyota Motor Show in Lekki, Lagos. He highlighted that sales last year exceeded 3,000 units, reflecting growing customer trust in Toyota. Top-selling models include the Hilux, Hiace, and Rush. New models such as the Starlet Cross SUV, updated Corolla Cross, and RAV4 are expected soon. Supporting Nigeria’s green efforts, hybrid versions of the Urban Cruiser and Corolla Cross will be launched this year. Toyota also plans to introduce a mini Land Cruiser with a 2.4-liter engine. The company emphasizes strong after-sales service, offering maintenance packages, body and paint services for all brands, and promoting Toyota Genuine Motor Oil. The ongoing motor show presents buyers discounted prices and showcases Toyota’s vehicle range and service capabilities.
