Trump Launches Website for $5 Million US Residency Visa, Opens Public Interest List

Trump launches a website for his $5M US residency visa plan, inviting users to join the waiting list for the elite “Trump Card” immigration program.

Former U.S. President Donald Trump has officially launched a website to promote his proposed $5 million residency visa program, known as the “Trump Card.” The website, TrumpCard.gov, is now live and accepting early interest from prospective applicants. Visitors can submit their name, email address, and preferred visa type under the headline: “The Trump Card is Coming.”

Trump made the announcement through a social media post on Wednesday, stating that thousands had already expressed interest in joining what he described as “a beautiful road” to U.S. residency. Although the visas are not yet available, the new site marks the first step in gathering potential applicants for the premium immigration offer.

The “Trump Card” visa is being pitched as a luxury version of the traditional U.S. green card, with a steep $5 million price tag. Trump has promoted it as a way to attract wealthy entrepreneurs and job creators, claiming the initiative could also help reduce the national deficit. In April, he revealed a golden prototype of the card featuring his image during a media event aboard Air Force One, and said the visa might be ready for issuance “in less than two weeks.”

Despite these claims, the actual launch date of the visa program remains unknown. Trump has suggested that up to a million cards could be sold and did not exclude the possibility of Russian nationals being eligible to apply. He also indicated that this visa could serve as a pathway to U.S. citizenship.

The timing of the announcement has drawn attention. It comes amid intensified deportation operations across the U.S., widespread protests, and multiple legal challenges against Trump’s immigration policies. Critics have pointed out the contrast between the crackdown on undocumented migrants and the introduction of a visa aimed at the ultra-wealthy.

For now, the TrumpCard.gov website stands as a sign-up page for those interested in what Trump calls “the greatest opportunity in the greatest country in the world.”
