Senator Muhammadu Adamu Aliero, who represents Kebbi Central Senatorial District under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has praised Governor Nasir Idris for the clear progress being made across Kebbi State. He shared his thoughts with reporters after attending a meeting of the Kebbi Elders Consultative Forum at Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic in Birnin Kebbi.
He described the changes across the state as visible, meaningful, and impressive. According to him, Birnin Kebbi has received a major facelift, with well-paved roads and solar-powered streetlights lining the major streets. He stressed that these efforts are not limited to the state capital. Other towns like Argungu, Yauri, and Zuru are also seeing similar projects, particularly in road construction and infrastructure upgrades.
Senator Aliero said the Elders Forum would continue to support the administration by offering helpful suggestions aimed at ensuring effective governance. He also addressed those who claim the government is not delivering, stating that such opinions do not reflect the current reality on the ground. He added that while criticism is part of any democratic system, it must be fair and based on facts. According to him, comments that ignore visible developments should be disregarded.
