Ganduje’s Aide Labels Buba Galadima Politically Irrelevant Amid War of Words

Ganduje’s media aide hits back at Buba Galadima, calling him politically irrelevant and accusing him of trying to stay relevant through baseless criticism.

Chief Oliver Okpala, Senior Special Assistant on Public Enlightenment to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), responded strongly to recent remarks made by Engineer Buba Galadima. Galadima had questioned the electoral value of Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the current APC National Chairman and former governor of Kano State. In a heated response, Okpala described Galadima as politically insignificant and lacking influence.

According to Okpala, Galadima’s political history reflects inconsistency, failure, and a lack of grassroots support. He dismissed Galadima as a frustrated figure whose relevance in Nigeria’s current political space has faded. Citing Ganduje’s two-term governorship and ongoing leadership role within the APC, Okpala defended the chairman’s credibility, pointing to visible development projects in Kano and strong party leadership as evidence of Ganduje’s influence.

Okpala questioned Galadima’s political record, suggesting that the former APC member has no tangible achievements to show. He also referenced Galadima’s past involvement in the Buhari Organization, claiming that his actions often undermined the group’s efforts.

The aide didn’t stop there. He accused Galadima of contributing to the internal crisis within the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), suggesting that the party has suffered divisions under his involvement. Okpala argued that Ganduje, in contrast, continues to strengthen the APC, guiding it with strategy and stability.

He further claimed that even Galadima’s former ally, General Muhammadu Buhari, had distanced himself from him. Okpala insisted that Ganduje would not be distracted by critics and remains a respected figure within Nigeria’s political landscape.

Concluding his statement, Okpala asserted that Galadima has lost relevance and cannot speak on behalf of Nigerians or the APC. He maintained that Ganduje’s leadership continues to attract support from across the country.
