The highly awaited docu-series Is It Your Money? has been officially released by West Africa’s largest factual content studio, Chude Jideonwo Presents. The director, Chude Jideonwo (@chudeity), shared an Instagram trailer announcing its launch.
This four-part documentary tells how Diezani Alison-Madueke, once seen as Africa’s most powerful woman, became an international fugitive. The series marks the largest budget documentary production in West Africa, backed primarily by the MacArthur Foundation. It spans three countries and eight cities, including Nigeria, the UK, and the US.
According to its director, the project required nearly three years of exhaustive research, filming, fact-checking, and post-production. Jideonwo also hinted at overcoming significant challenges during production. The first part of the series launched this morning and is available for exclusive streaming on withChude.com, with subsequent episodes set for weekly release.
The documentary has already garnered critical acclaim, winning the Best Documentary award in Nigeria and being showcased at numerous international film festivals. Produced in partnership with YNaija Studios and Capital Film Productions, Is It Your Money? is positioned as a must-watch exposé combining hard-hitting facts with top-tier storytelling.
