Cynthia Obi Uchendu, fashion entrepreneur and wife of BBN host, recently took to Instagram to voice her dissatisfaction with online vendors. She shared her frustrating shopping experience with an Instagram vendor in a post that quickly gained attention. After selecting a few items, Cynthia requested the total cost, including delivery charges. However, the vendor sent the prices for each item separately, leaving her to calculate the total amount independently.
Annoyed, she questioned, “Isn’t it the job of the seller to give the total amount of what I’m buying? Or am I running mad?” She went on to urge business owners to improve their customer service, emphasizing that customers—no matter the size of their purchase—deserve a high level of service. “Things are tough for everyone, but if I’m spending my money, I expect to be treated right,” she added, clarifying that poor service would not be tolerated.
