Three members of the Deeper Life Bible Church were kidnapped on the evening of May 26 in Akure North, Ondo State. The victims were returning from a Bible study session in Kasemola, Ogbese community when abductors seized them. The kidnappers have reached out to the families and church leaders, demanding a ransom of N5 million for each person, totaling N15 million. Family members and church supporters are currently raising funds to meet the ransom demands. Church leaders have also called on prayer warriors to seek divine intervention for the safe release of the captives. The incident has been reported to both the police and the Amotekun Corps. Police spokesperson Ayanlade Olayinka confirmed the kidnapping and said officers are actively searching the surrounding forest to rescue the victims and apprehend the kidnappers. Investigations and rescue efforts remain ongoing.
