Kwara State Police Command apprehended Habeeb Okikilola Badmus, popularly known as Portable, following a complaint by Fuji music icon Okunola Saheed, alias Osupa. According to police spokesperson SP Adetoun Ejire-Adeyemi, Osupa’s petition accused Portable of criminal defamation, issuing threats, inciting unrest, character assassination, breaching public peace, and using abusive language.
Supported by compelling evidence, police secured an arrest warrant from an Ilorin Magistrate Court. Officers arrested Portable in Abeokuta, Ogun State, at around 7:25 PM and brought him to Ilorin for interrogation.
With lawyers from both sides present, Portable gave his statement. He remains in custody as authorities finalize plans to charge him in court. The investigation continues, with further developments expected soon.
