Ijaw Forum Defends Prophet Fufeyin, Slams Klintoncod’s Allegations

An Ijaw group has condemned comedian Klintoncod’s claims against Prophet Fufeyin, calling them false, disrespectful, and harmful to religious values.

The Ijaw Progressive Forum (IPF) has strongly criticized comments made by comedian Ekene Egbuna, popularly known as Klintoncod, concerning Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin. The group described the allegations as false and disrespectful.

In a statement issued on Thursday in Yenagoa, IPF President Peretimi Ebiowei stated that the remarks directed at Prophet Fufeyin were baseless and aimed at damaging the image of a respected spiritual leader. Fufeyin, the founder of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry, is widely regarded in the Ijaw community and beyond.

Klintoncod had recently accused the prophet of exploiting church members by selling fake miracle items. The Ijaw group dismissed the claim as defamatory and misleading, stating that such public attacks amount to character assassination.

According to Ebiowei, Prophet Fufeyin represents a symbol of pride and faith to both the Ijaw people and the Niger Delta region. He warned that IPF would no longer tolerate public insults or mockery directed at leaders within the community.

He further revealed that the group is now monitoring Klintoncod’s online activities closely and will take lawful action if needed to protect the image of the clergyman.
