Finchglow Travels has expressed concern over the inconsistent growth in Nigeria’s travel and tourism industry. As the company celebrated its 19th anniversary with a three-day staff workshop titled Summer90 Plus: Power Up and Shine, it noted that while the sector is moving forward, progress is not uniform across the board.
Managing Director Ezekiel Ikotun described the anniversary as a turning point for the company. He explained that Finchglow is adapting by focusing on internal transformation and innovation. According to him, the company is investing in talent development, smarter processes, and advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence, to improve how it operates and supports the wider industry.
Ikotun emphasized the importance of building a skilled and purpose-driven team, calling it a competitive edge. He added that better use of data and scalable tools would be key to future growth in travel services.
The workshop gathered staff from different parts of the country to explore current trends, learn about emerging technologies, and sharpen service standards, as part of the company’s push to stay ahead in a rapidly changing industry.
