A woman in Washington state says she’s not backing down after her home was hit by gunfire over the weekend in what she believes was a politically motivated attack. The incident happened early Sunday morning in the Ballard area of Seattle, leaving several bullet holes in her house windows and damaging a red pickup truck parked outside. The woman, who asked not to be identified, told local reporters the gunshots appeared to target political stickers and images displayed in her windows. These included signs supporting former President Donald Trump, a Confederate flag, and a sticker that read “Police Lives Matter.”
The truck, which had a flag attached to it, had two of its windows shattered during the attack. According to the homeowner, this is not the first time her house has been targeted. She said the first shooting occurred on New Year’s Eve, going into 2024, when a bullet flew into a cabinet inside her home. During this latest incident, the shutters were closed, which may have helped reduce the damage. After the gunfire stopped, the woman claims she saw a man walking across the street.
Despite the two attacks, she says she will not remove the pro-Trump displays. Instead, she’s taking steps to improve her safety by installing security cameras around her home. Fox News Digital has contacted the Seattle Police Department for more details about the shooting.
