Trump Sets 10-Day Ultimatum for Putin to Enter Ukraine Talks

U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a new timeline for Russian President Vladimir Putin to begin peace talks over the ongoing war in Ukraine. Speaking in Scotland alongside British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Trump announced that Russia has roughly 10 to 12 days to come to the negotiating table. He stressed there was no point in delaying further, adding that he is bringing the deadline forward to push for quicker action. When asked by reporters for clarification, Trump simply stated, “I am going to make a new deadline of about 10 or 12 days from today.” The remark signals growing pressure from the U.S. for a resolution to the prolonged conflict.
