Air Peace Empowers Women in Abia State with Free Flights

Air Peace empowers women in Abia by offering free flights, opening doors to aviation opportunities. Celebrating inclusion and inspiring new dreams.

Air Peace, Nigeria’s biggest airline, has taken a remarkable step toward empowering women in the Umuerim Umukparo Mbala community, Abia State. The airline provided six return economy tickets, allowing women in the area to travel to any destination within Nigeria by air. This initiative is part of the company’s broader corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts, which focus on areas like social welfare, education, youth empowerment, and women’s advancement.

During the event, Dr. Ejike Ndiulo, Head of Corporate Communications at Air Peace, emphasized the airline’s dedication to transforming lives through aviation. He noted that the initiative aims to make air travel more inclusive and inspire women to explore opportunities in the aviation sector. Highlighting that the company’s leadership includes several women in key positions, he underlined how the airline advocates for gender equality and empowerment.

This gesture not only facilitates first-time air travel but also seeks to spark interest in aviation careers such as piloting, engineering, and airline management. The company’s commitment extends beyond affordability and safety, aiming to make flying an experience accessible to all Nigerians, regardless of their background.

Previously, Air Peace celebrated Miss Gold Ike, the first woman from Umuerim Umukparo to fly, and this latest initiative continues their mission of creating opportunities and inspiring new possibilities within rural communities.
