Anambra Civil Service Commission Chair Lauds Soludo’s Commitment to Workers’ Welfare

Tony Ezenwaka, Chairman of the Anambra State Civil Service Commission, has affirmed that the administration of Governor Chukwuma Soludo is dedicated to enhancing workers’ welfare in the state. Ezenwaka made this statement during a solidarity visit by Comrade Humphrey Emeka Nwafor, the Anambra State Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC).

A former union leader and Permanent Secretary in the state’s civil service, Ezenwaka, urged workers to support the Soludo administration, emphasizing that the Governor is focused on the overall development of Anambra State. He praised Soludo for staying committed to state progress despite external distractions.

In his remarks, Ezenwaka highlighted that his primary interest is selflessness and the well-being of state workers. He noted that he does not see himself as a politician, but as someone who was appointed by the Governor to serve the state. He also appealed for divine guidance in fulfilling his duties and called on Comrade Nwafor and the NLC to support his efforts in improving workers’ conditions.

Furthermore, Ezenwaka encouraged continued support for Governor Soludo’s re-election, citing his responsible leadership and ongoing development initiatives. Nwafor, on his part, assured Ezenwaka of the NLC’s support, stressing the importance of working together for a prosperous state. He commended Governor Soludo for the rehabilitation of the Civil Service Commission headquarters, acknowledging the ongoing inconveniences caused by the construction.

Both leaders agreed on the Governor’s approach of quietly progressing with the state’s development.
