A horrific scene unfolded in Abeokuta, Ogun State, when the body of an unidentified woman was discovered in a drainage along OGTV Road. Her private parts had been brutally mutilated. Local residents were shocked when they found the lifeless woman on Tuesday morning, May 8, 2025. They immediately contacted the authorities, and police arrived to investigate.
Upon closer inspection, it became apparent that the woman’s private part had been removed, suggesting a gruesome motive. While the circumstances of her death remain unclear, reports indicate that she may have been targeted for ritualistic purposes.
A senior security official revealed that the victim was a commercial sex worker. According to her friends, a man had picked her up at a well-known spot in Oke-Ilewo the day before. Tragically, her body was discovered with multiple machete wounds to her neck and hands. Authorities have taken the body to the morgue for further examination.
