JAMB Investigates Complaints Over 2025 UTME Technical Issues

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) is probing complaints related to the 2025 UTME results to address possible technical glitches.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has launched an investigation into multiple complaints regarding technical issues with the recently released 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results. In response to what it described as a large number of unusual complaints, JAMB has formed a team of experts to review the situation and resolve any issues. The team consists of specialists from various fields, including members of the Computer Professionals Association of Nigeria, Chief External Examiners, and Vice Chancellors from across the country.

Fabian Benjamin, JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, confirmed that the investigation will involve a detailed review of the entire examination process—from registration to result release. Special attention is being given to complaints from certain states, prompting the board to speed up its annual system review, which typically takes place months after the exam.

JAMB assures candidates that any technical disruptions during the exam will result in rescheduling for those affected. The board has committed to promptly addressing any identified issues and implementing corrective measures to ensure the integrity of future exams.
