Ukraine Reportedly Loses 235 Troops in Kursk Within 24 Hours, Says Russia

Russia claims 235 Ukrainian soldiers were killed in the past 24 hours in the Kursk region. Report highlights mounting losses and intensifying conflict.

Ukraine’s military reportedly lost 235 soldiers within a single day in the ongoing fighting around the Kursk region, according to a statement released Monday by the Russian Defense Ministry. The report adds to a growing list of casualties and destroyed equipment that the ministry attributes to Ukraine’s ongoing offensive operations in the area.

In the same update, Russian officials claimed Ukraine has now suffered a total of over 74,245 personnel losses and the destruction of 406 tanks since the beginning of its offensive in the Kursk direction. The 24-hour report further detailed the loss of an armored personnel carrier, three combat armored vehicles, 14 vehicles, four field artillery systems, four mortars, and a BM-21 Grad multiple launch rocket system.

These claims come as both sides continue to report heavy engagements across various frontlines, with escalating tolls underscoring the intensity of the prolonged conflict. Ukrainian officials have yet to issue a response regarding the latest figures from Moscow.
