KAA Truth Podcast Responds to Legal Threats and Exposes Deception in Religious Circles

KAA, the host and founder of KAA Truth Podcast, has issued a public and forceful response following a legal ultimatum from representatives of a well-known prophet accused of fraudulent religious practices. In a detailed Youtube Video, KAA revealed a timeline of events, including evidence of pre-publication transparency, direct communication with the accused, and what he describes as a desperate attempt to suppress the truth.

KAA opened his statement by reaffirming the podcast’s mission to expose deception, especially in religious circles where vulnerable individuals often fall victim to manipulation. “When you fight darkness,” he said, “darkness fights back — and those who operate in it will go to great lengths to maintain their cover.”

He emphasized that the KAA Truth Podcast has always acted with integrity, ensuring due diligence before publishing any exposé. “Before the release of our recent episode investigating Pastor UCH and the alleged staging of miracles,” KAA stated, “we officially reached out to him with an invitation to provide his side of the story.”

On Sunday, April 6th, 2025 — two full days before the release of the controversial episode — the KAA Truth Podcast team sent an official invitation to the accused via both email and WhatsApp. Screenshots of the messages were shared during the video response, showing a clear chain of communication.

The invitation letter, titled “Official Invitation to KAA Truth Podcast”, respectfully requested UCH’s presence at their Abuja studio for a recorded interview, allowing him the opportunity to respond to serious allegations of staged miracles and false prophecies. The letter included the studio’s physical address, KAA’s contact, and an open call for dialogue.

KAA explained, “We wanted transparency. We extended a hand, not hostility. We made an exception for him that we didn’t even offer others — contacting him before publishing anything. And yet, they claim the police had to ‘track us down,’ when our address was in plain sight on the letter we sent them.”

KAA further alleged that following the podcast’s refusal to retract the story, efforts were made to intimidate the team and offer bribes. Among the alleged tactics were:

  • A ₦3,000,000 bribe offer through an intermediary.

  • Claims that the exposure would damage religious institutions in Eastern Nigeria.

  • Emotional pleas, including voice notes and deleted messages from UCH’s associates.

Screenshots were displayed showing a conversation with UCH’s close aide, wherein the aide initially denied the allegations and later pleaded for leniency, citing personal and community reputational damage.

Notably, KAA claimed UCH’s team attempted to buy silence with a promise to donate funds to the homeless — a gesture he labeled as “a veiled bribe.” Deleted messages asking for account numbers to transfer funds, voice notes filled with emotional pleas, and previous attempts at influencing the podcast team were all presented as evidence.

In response to a legal letter issued by a firm representing the accused prophet — demanding a retraction within 48 hours — KAA has issued his own 24-hour ultimatum.

“If you don’t retract that letter within 24 hours,” KAA said, “we will initiate our own legal proceedings — and this time, you won’t be defending your reputation, but facing criminal charges for fraudulent activities and organized deceit.”

KAA declared that the podcast has concrete plans to escalate the investigation by:

  • Publishing unreleased audio and video footage.

  • Gathering all individuals allegedly used in staged miracles for independent verification.

  • Collaborating with legal and civil rights organizations to pursue justice.

KAA called upon members of the public, particularly former church members and anyone who has participated in or witnessed UCH’s events, to come forward.

“We are calling on truth-seekers and whistleblowers. Visit their website, take note of everyone who has appeared in so-called miracles, and help us confirm the authenticity of these claims,” he urged.

Perhaps most importantly, KAA emphasized that the KAA Truth Podcast is more than one individual. “This movement is decentralized. If you silence me, KAA continues. We’ve planned for this. You cannot crush the truth by targeting the messenger.”

He concluded with a strong message for those attempting to silence investigative work: “We are incorruptible. You cannot threaten us. We will not stop. The truth will be televised.”
